Nigerian music producer and artist Joshua Mike Bamiloye has reacted to the testimony and conversion of hip-pop artist Chidinma Ekile.
It would be recalled that secular artist Chidinma wowed her fans and followers about the news of her conversion and also quitting secular music for gospel music. She made this announcement.
Chidinma Ekile who is currently signed on with Eezee concept has released her first gospel song titled “Jehovah Overdo”. According to her, she quit secular music because the enemy has been winning for too long and wants to move away from the hands of the enemy. She disclosed the reasons why she decided to quit secular music and go in for gospel songs.
“Our God is faithful, He never lies and He does whatever He says. So I’m here today, it’s been a long journey. I had an opportunity to spend time with Him, it’s a rare privilege to spend time with Him and He told me a lot of things and He said, He has been waiting for me. So, He is happy to receive me. God has been very intentional about me.”
“He is very mindful of me. I’m not here because I want fame. I’ve had all of that and I think I’ve had enough of all of that. So, right now is the time to work for my father. He is the one who has called me, I did not bring myself here” she said.
Reacting to the conversion of Chidinma, music producer Joshua Mike Bamiloye has called the testimony of Chidinma a refreshing one and has disclosed that he prays that more secular artists will also come to the light and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
I’m really happy for Chidinma’s testimony. It’s refreshing to see. I pray more and musicians come to the knowledge of Christ and the true purpose of their gift. The harvest is plenty!
