A Police Station in Nigeria has been set on fire and several people have reportedly been killed as protests continue to escalate across the country.

Orile Iganmu Police station in Lagos State was set ablaze as the “End Sars” protests became increasingly violent on Tuesday.

Footage posted to social media shows flames billowing out from the building while crowds cause mayhem in the surrounding streets.

In another clip from Tuesday, bursts of bullets can be heard as crowds of people run through the streets.

It comes after assailants attacked three police stations just a day earlier—Ugbekun Police Station, Oba Market Police Station and Idogbo Police Post—in the city of Benin in Edo State, Nigeria’s national force said.

Several news outlets have reported fatalities on Tuesday although none have been confirmed by authorities.
