An ex- Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has ‘bombarded’ President Muhammadu Buhari over the current happenings in the All Progressives Congress, APC.
President Buhari has since made no remark even as the predicament rocking the ruling party grows messier to the level that over 2 individuals have claimed its National Chairmanship spot following the suspension of Adams Oshiomhole by the court.
The ex- Governor stated that the president can not in fact, take care of the affairs of his immediate household not to talk of his party and also the country.
Fayose had earlier on defined the APC crisis as a show of God’s displeasure. He stated the development resulted from the approach the present federal government had treated Nigerians since its emergence.
Fayose stated that what is transpiring in the ruling party testified what he referred to as the hopeless scenario of Nigeria, adding that Buhari, that is the leader of the APC can not even run it.
yesterday, party Deputy Secretary, Yekini Nabena, called out, appealing to President Buhari to act quickly by at least calling for the party’s emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting to resolve the leadership crisis jolting the party.
“What is happening to the APC in Edo State is a pointer to the helpless situation that our country is now,” Fayose tweeted on Saturday night.
“The President who should be the leader of APC cannot even run the affairs of his immediate family not to talk of managing his party and the nation.
“Gold is only sold to those who know the worth. Sadly, Nigeria is currently being managed by strange bird fellows, who took it by conspiracy and deception.
“People who can’t even manage their party. Now, our country is bleeding seriously, and we must salvage it together.”
