President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to death of Abubakar Tsav, a former Lagos State Commissioner of Police.
Buhari noted that the ex-Lagos Commissioner of Police took a great personal risks to vindicate him and his administration in all situations and circumstances.
The President, in a statement signed by his Spokesman, Garba Shehu, condoled with government and people of Benue State over the passing of the former police commissioner.
The statement said that Buhari joins the family members, friends and associates in mourning the retired police officer.
Buhari explain that the Tsav’s years in service will continue to resonate with the discipline and focus he brought into security operations, particularly in Lagos State.
Shehu stated that the Mr President acknowledged that Tsav’s wise counsels to leaders in his state and national level, especially on good governance were mostly impactful.
“I feel very special about people like Tsav, who took great personal risks to vindicate me and my government in all situations and circumstances,’’ the President said.
He prayed for the decease soul of the departed while urging his family to find strength in his contributions to humanity.
