Officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have indeed apprehended a leading Boko Haram logistics provider in Borno state.
Borno NSCDC commandant, Mr Ibrahim Abdullahi that paraded 35-year-old Bakura Ibrahim, before newsmen on Thursday June 11, stated he was captured on June 6 in Maiduguri with “24 Jerry cans of fuel, 7 cartons of traditional medication,10 bags of fishing hooks as well as nets, and also sex enhancement medicines”.
Abdullahi said the arrest was made possible with the collaboration of other security agencies. He said;
“We have since move forward from sharing intelligence to arresting culprits and handing them to relevant departments for prosecution”.
